A woman is found beaten and strangled in her mobile home
Ruth Davison was found beaten and strangled to death in her mobile home in the Illahee Shores Mobile Home Park, in the 4300 block of Illahee Road in Central Kitsap, on June 16, 2000. There were signs of a struggle in her home. County prosecutors in February 2003 charged a local man with her murder after a witness came forward saying the man had “all but confessed” to the homicide.
