A woman is found stabbed and strangled in her apartment
Marilyn Hickey was strangled and stabbed to death on Sept. 9, 1992, in her apartment in the 400 block of Chester Avenue in Bremerton in September 1992. She spent the last night of her life at the Drift Inn Tavern and got a cab ride home with an unknown man. Eight to 10 hours later, she was dead. No one was able to figure out the identity of the stranger she went home with that night. She was well known by the city’s firefighters, who often treated her for a seizure disorder.
