A woman dies from a Molotov cocktail
Barbara Williams died from severe burns from a firebomb attack at 3:30 a.m. on Nov. 22, 1991, at a triplex in the 1500 block of Spruce Avenue in Bremerton. Two Molotov cocktails were thrown into the home while she was sleeping. Police, firefighters and neighbors pulled all the victims from the burning building. Three unbroken bottles filled with a flammable liquid and stuffed with rags were found outside the triplex.
