A beloved country musician is found dead
A much-loved country musician, Paymela Faye Long’s body was found Oct. 31, 2009, in the remains of a mobile home fire in Illahee Shores Mobile Home Park, in the 4300 block of Illahee Road in Central Kitsap. The next day, investigators classified her death as one that occurred by “homicidal means.” Much evidence was sent to the state crime lab for analysis, but detectives have made no arrests in the case.
