On December 9, 1994, 27-year-old Geraldine Ross was found murdered in her apartment in the Forest Village complex in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Her 8-year-old son, Jonathan, waited for hours outside their locked apartment when she failed to pick him up from the bus stop.
