A woman, caught in gun crossfire, is killed On the evening of January 18, 2011, in Richmond, Virginia, a burst of gunfire shattered the night in the 1400 block of Harwood Street, forever altering the lives of a local family. Regina Nicole Doctor, a 29-year-old African-American woman, was tragically caught in the crossfire. When Richmond police officers arrived at the scene shortly after 7 p.m., they discovered two women with gunshot wounds. While one woman survived her injuries, Regina Doctor was pronounced dead at the scene.
