On March 3, 2012, Sylvester Jones, a 53-year-old resident of Richmond, Virginia, was found shot near his home in the city’s Northside area. Jones, affectionately known as “Bucky” or “Starborn” by those close to him, was discovered with a gunshot wound to his chest. Emergency services responded to the scene on Old Brook Road at around 10 p.m. Though rushed to a local hospital, he succumbed to his injuries the following day, on March 4.
