In the late summer of 1982, the life of James William Skeel, a 52-year-old male, was abruptly and violently cut short in Salt Lake City, Utah. The last time he was seen by anyone was in the early morning hours of September 21st, at approximately 1:30 a.m., as he was leaving the Staircase Lounge situated at 3000 S. Highland Drive. What transpired between that moment and the discovery of his body remains a mystery that has endured for decades.
