On August 26, 2013, 40-year-old Mario Licona was fatally shot in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred in the early morning hours at a residence located in the 7000 block of Bissonnet Street. According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire and found Licona with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
