Taariq Khalil Muhammad, a 39-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically passed away on February 3, 2019, in Houston, TX. He was shot multiple times inside his home by his roommate, Jaimel Demetrius Smith, who was later charged with his murder. Smith, who had a prior conviction for murder dating back to 1995, was arrested at the scene and faced a bond of $250,000 or more due to his previous criminal history.
