On December 6, 2017, Alexander Clark, aged 22, was fatally shot in his apartment in southwest Houston. The incident occurred in the morning when multiple gunshots were fired into the apartment complex where Clark lived with his girlfriend and their infant child. Clark was killed on the spot, while his girlfriend was injured and required surgery, and the baby suffered minor graze wounds.
