Do you know who murdered this Houston security guard? Rene Almeida, aged 51, was fatally shot on April 18, 2014, in Houston, Texas, while working as a security guard at a condominium complex. The incident took place at around 12:25 a.m. when Almeida was on duty at the 9700 block of Leawood Boulevard. He was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The circumstances surrounding the shooting indicated a robbery attempt, but the perpetrator remained at large at the time.
