Richard Banda, a 31-year-old man, was fatally shot in a parking lot of Dotty's Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 11, 2025. Reports indicate that Banda was standing next to the trunk of his car when a person in another vehicle fired at him. He suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities launched an investigation into the incident, and on March 24, 2025, police arrested 37-year-old Salvador Delgadillo on an open murder charge.
Delgadillo was booked into the Clark County Detention Center, and a judge denied bail during his initial court appearance. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and law enforcement has not disclosed further details regarding the circumstances leading to the arrest.
