On the evening of Thursday, October 1, 2009, Michael Anthony Jones, a 29-year-old male, returned to his residence at 2214 14th Avenue North in Nashville, Tennessee, around 10:30 p.m. Shortly after entering his home, neighbors overheard the sounds of a heated argument.
