In the early hours of a Thursday morning in Memphis, Tennessee, the quiet of the East Yates Road neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunshots. It was shortly after midnight on July 26, 2012, when police received a call about a shooting at a residence. Inside the home, officers made a grim discovery.
