On February 20, 1997, the body of 19-year-old Stacey Brooke Holsonback was found floating in Lake Hartwell near Highway 93, close to Clemson University in Oconee County, South Carolina. Stacey, a Clemson University student, had gone out the night before with two classmates for a four-wheeling excursion. According to the two men, the vehicle they were in got stuck, and Stacey walked away from the scene. That was the last time she was seen alive.
