In the early morning hours of May 18, 2024, a wave of violence shattered the quiet of a Walterboro, South Carolina community. Inside a home on Hayden Street, 43-year-old Alisha Gardner was found dead, the victim of a targeted shooting that also claimed the lives of two others. A devoted mother and grandmother, Alisha was known for her calm and composed nature, a rock for her family and friends who always put her children and granddaughter first.
