Patricia Ann Grooms, a 32-year-old female, died on Friday, November 12, 2021, in Colleton County, South Carolina. Her death occurred on Green Pond Highway as a result of a shooting. The incident tragically took place in the presence of her young children.

Three days after the shooting, authorities arrested Billy McLean Head, III, a 38-year-old man from Walterboro, and charged him with her murder. Head was reportedly Patricia's boyfriend. He initially claimed that the shooting was an act o ...
