According to reports, Bartina Robinson was shot and killed by Larry Roger Allen Carroway, a 39-year-old man from Wedgefield, South Carolina. The incident occurred while both individuals were traveling in a vehicle on East Bobo Newsom Highway near Hartsville. After the shooting, Carroway drove Robinson to a local hospital and fled the scene after dropping her off.
