Heather Marie Leeland Schmitt, a 44-year-old woman from Huron, Ohio, tragically passed away on June 4, 2019. She was born on April 30, 1975, in Elgin, Illinois, and had lived in Huron for the past 16 years. Heather was employed as a Financial Planner at Western & Southern Life Insurance Company in Sandusky and was an active member of her community, including St. Peter Catholic Church, the Huron Eagles, and the Huron Band Parents.
