An 18-year-old woman, identified as Le’ondra Messner, was killed in a shooting on the evening of May 20, 2026, in Mansfield, Ohio. The incident occurred at approximately 10:38 p.m. at a residence located in the 700 block of West Third Street. Messner, a Black female, was inside the home when she was struck by gunfire. She was visiting a friend at the apartment and had only been there for a few minutes before the shooting took place.
