In the autumn of 2009, the life of a Philadelphia woman, Decia Carroll, was tragically cut short at the age of 41. Her body was discovered on a Monday morning in September inside a residence in the city's Kingsessing section. The home, located on the 1500 block of Lindenwood Street, became the center of a homicide investigation.
