In the early morning hours of August 27, 2010, a violent exchange of gunfire between the occupants of two cars shattered the pre-dawn quiet of a Pittsburgh neighborhood. Caught in the crossfire was 51-year-old Robert James, a Black male from the nearby community of Wilkinsburg.
