On a cold January evening in Philadelphia, the life of 26-year-old Delvin Brown was tragically cut short. On January 7, 2014, at approximately 7:46 p.m., the sound of gunfire echoed on the 6300 block of Musgrave Street. When police arrived at the scene, they found Delvin suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was a resident of the neighborhood, living not far away on the 6300 block of Chew Avenue.
