On a Tuesday evening in Philadelphia, a discovery was made that brought a violent end to the life of a local man. Inside a silver Honda Accord parked on the 4900 block of Rosehill Street, police found 32-year-old Andrew Rodriguez on November 16, 2021. The Hispanic male had been shot multiple times.
The call came in to Philadelphia Police officers at 6:34 p.m., directing them to the quiet residential street where Andrew, himself a resident of Rosehill Street, was found.
Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene, but upon their arrival, they could only confirm that Andrew had succumbed to his injuries. He was pronounced dead inside the vehicle.
In the wake of the shooting, the Philadelphia Police Department's Homicide Unit opened an investigation into the death. Authorities have encouraged the public to come forward with any information that might lead to an arrest.
