David Massey, a 25-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on July 3, 2014, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred on the 5200 block of Akron Street at approximately 9:47 p.m. Philadelphia Police officers responded to reports of a shooting and found David suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and shoulder.
