On October 7, 2024, at approximately 7:26 a.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to reports of a shooting on the 4300 block of North Broad Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 42-year-old Lawrence Way lying in the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers immediately transported him to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead later that morning.
