Khalil Hicks, a 39-year-old African American man from Philadelphia, PA, was fatally shot inside a U-Haul storage garage on April 16, 2019. He was found unresponsive and lying on the garage floor on the 6200 block of Chelwynde Avenue, shortly before 8 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred in Southwest Philadelphia, and no arrests have been made in connection with his death. Police are continuing to investigate the fatal shooting.
