In the middle of a Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia, on June 18, 2022, the life of 18-year-old Ahmad N. Abrams was tragically cut short. An 18-year-old Black male, Abrams was in the 1400 block of North 27th Street, near his grandparents' house, when he was shot during a robbery. The incident occurred around 12:10 p.m., a time when the streets should have been filled with the normal sounds of a weekend, not gunfire.
