A man is found shot to death in the street Edward Abu, a 54-year-old Black male from Philadelphia, was found wounded in the early morning darkness of Saturday, August 22, 2015, after gunfire erupted on the 2000 block of South 60th Street. At about 3:53 a.m., Philadelphia Police officers arrived and found him lying in the street, unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was still alive when officers and emergency responders reached him, and he was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in critical condition.
