Tony Harris, a 50-year-old resident of Southwest Philadelphia, was shot and killed during a home invasion on the night of October 12, 2015. Harris was at his home on South Ruby Street when three masked men broke in, reportedly demanding money while holding him and his wife at gunpoint. The men shot Harris in the head after he insisted that there was no money available. He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries the following morning, on October 13, 2015.
