In the evening hours of Sunday, November 15, 2015, a dispute in West Philadelphia turned deadly, claiming the life of 20-year-old Corey Wright. The young man was discovered inside a residence on the 5600 block of Pemberton Street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, and Wright was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He had sustained gunshot wounds to his torso and left thigh. Despite the efforts of medical staff, he was pronounce ...
