Gregory Daye, aged 56, was tragically murdered on November 29, 2016, in Philadelphia. At approximately 7:34 p.m., police responded to a call on the 800 block of North 41st Street, where they found Gregory Daye suffering from gunshot wounds to his abdomen and leg. The police officers immediately transported him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, but despite the best efforts of medical personnel, Gregory succumbed to his injuries that same night.
Gregory resided in the same area where the incident occurred, adding to the heartbreak for the local community. His death was part of a series of violent incidents that year in Philadelphia, contributing to the high number of unsolved homicides that continues to trouble the city. No suspects have been identified in connection with the case, and the police are still urging anyone with information to come forward, in hopes of bringing justice to Gregory and his loved ones.
