In the waning hours of a summer evening in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a young life was tragically cut short. On August 17, 2017, 19-year-old Jeriamy Edwards, an African American male, was found lifeless on Shemp Way in the city's Middle Hill district. Responding to a call around 8 p.m., police discovered Edwards with a gunshot wound to his face. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
