Who killed Deontae Morris in 1999?
On a late summer evening in Portland, Oregon, the life of a young African-American man was tragically cut short. On August 26, 1999, at around 10 p.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the peace at Pier Park. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered the body of 19-year-old Deontay Morris near the park's restrooms. He had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
