On September 23, 2010, Jose Sergio Montes De La Cueva was shot in the head in the 2100 block of East Tecumseh Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The 37-year-old victim was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries. The circumstances surrounding the shooting were investigated by the Tulsa Police Department, and a person of interest, Gabriel Nathan Smith, was questioned but later released pending further investigation. Authorities continue to seek leads, and the case remains unsolved.
