In the late summer of 2012, a weekend of violence in Oklahoma City claimed the life of Curtis Lee Nolen, a 50-year-old White male. His death was one of five homicides that occurred in the city over a short and brutal 48-hour period, contributing to a year that saw a significant increase in violent crime.
