In the early morning hours of a November Friday in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the life of Stephen Moran, a 44-year-old man, was irrevocably altered. On November 22, 2013, while Moran was driving his Mazda RX-8 near 53rd and Peoria, a bullet pierced the rear window of his vehicle and struck him in the back of the head. The catastrophic injury caused him to lose control of the car, which then crashed into the Corner Cafe. Police were dispatched to the scene at approximately 4 a.m.
after a witness reported the collision.
