On February 16, 2008, 26-year-old Salvador Hernandez was shot and killed while sitting in a parked car in the Chollas Creek neighborhood of San Diego, California. The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m. when an unknown older, light-colored pickup truck pulled alongside the vehicle Hernandez was in.
