On January 1, 2017, Perry Wallace, aged 32, was found shot to death behind the Victory Christian Center located in the 7700 block of South Lewis in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His body was discovered around 8:30 a.m. on New Year's Day. Police believe that Wallace was killed in the early hours of the morning, around 1:00 a.m. The crime scene was located behind several buses parked at the church, adding to the complexity of the investigation.
