On April 30, 1977, Samuel Baker, a 41-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, was found shot in his driveway at 1014 E. 15th Avenue. He was lying face-up when discovered, and was quickly transported to the University Emergency Room, where he was pronounced dead. The investigation indicated that Baker had been shot, but despite the efforts of law enforcement, no suspects were identified, and the case remains unsolved.
