Robin M. Durrer, a 19-year-old resident of the Village of Reese in Franklin County, Ohio, was tragically murdered on September 10, 1981. On the evening of September 9, 1981, Robin was last seen riding her bicycle near her home. She never returned, prompting her family to file a missing person report. The following day, her body was discovered along the C&O railroad off Rathmell Road. She had been sexually assaulted and died due to blunt force trauma to the head and neck.
