On June 9, 2024, 18-year-old Te'Nya Janay McKinley was fatally shot while seated in an SUV on Glenwood Avenue near Sherwood Avenue in Youngstown, Ohio. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. during a gathering known as a "car meet." Another woman in the vehicle was also injured. Authorities recovered nearly 100 shell casings at the scene, with ShotSpotter technology detecting approximately 131 rounds fired at that time.
