On August 15, 1994, Sherwin Butler, a 25-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was found dead from a gunshot wound. The incident occurred at 1286 E. 28th Avenue in Franklin County. The Columbus Police Department responded to the scene, but despite their efforts, the case remains unsolved to this day.

Sherwin Butler’s death was part of a larger effort by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) and the Columbus Police to address numerous cold cases in the area. Authorities contin ...
