On September 25, 1995, Maurice Cannon, aged 51, was found shot in Columbus, Ohio, near the intersection of 24th and Hamilton. Cannon had sustained a gunshot wound to the buttocks, which led to his death. The incident occurred in Franklin County, and despite the efforts of the Columbus Police Department, the case remains unsolved. The motive for the shooting and the identity of the perpetrator have not been determined, and the investigation has stalled without any significant leads.
