William Hooker Jr., aged 71, was brutally attacked on June 12, 1998, in Painesville Township, Ohio. The incident took place at his place of business, Hooker's Used Cars, located at 1870 North Ridge Road. During the early morning hours, unknown assailants entered the property and severely beat Hooker, leaving him for dead. He was discovered later by an employee who called for help.
