Marcus Whirl, aged 27, was killed on April 18, 2004, in Lima, Ohio, during what appeared to be an ordinary backyard gathering. The incident occurred at 1309 South Main Street, where Marcus was hosting a barbecue. At approximately 9:07 PM, an unknown assailant shot Marcus while he was standing in the backyard. He sustained a gunshot wound that ultimately led to his death at the scene. The case remains unsolved, with no identified suspects or motive for the shooting.
