On September 12, 2004, 36-year-old Ismael Noriega-Arenas died in a tragic arson fire at the Lincoln Park West Apartment Complex in Columbus, Ohio. The fire broke out in the early morning hours at approximately 2:30 a.m. at 600 Lynwood Lane. Residents were awakened by yelling and pounding as the fire quickly spread through the building, leaving the structure engulfed in flames.
