On September 12, 2004, a tragic fire broke out at the Lincoln Park West Apartments located at 600 Lynwood Lane in Columbus, Ohio, resulting in the death of 10 individuals, including 1-year-old Ismael Noriega-Mejia. The fire was ruled as arson, and the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, along with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) and the Ohio State Fire Marshal, responded to the scene to investigate the incident.
