On July 28, 2011, Marshawn Christian, age 28, was shot and killed in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred at the 900 block of Oakwood Avenue during the late hours of the night. Columbus Police received reports and arrived at the scene, where Marshawn was found with severe gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
